This policy explains how Artemis XY Limited ("we", "us") collects and uses personal information through this website, artemis-distribution.co.uk.
Who we are
Artemis XY Limited is the controller of your personal information. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17472972. Our registered office is Unit C, Blackett Street, Manchester, M12 6AE.

What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our form, we collect your name, email address and message, and your company name and phone number if you give them.
When you visit the site, our web server records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use this only to keep the site secure and working.

We do not sell your information, and we will not add you to marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- our website host, Fasthosts Internet Ltd, which stores the website and server logs in the UK
- our email provider, which delivers and stores enquiry emails
- Google, which serves the fonts used on this site. Your browser connects to Google's servers to load them, which shares your IP address with Google. Google may process this outside the UK under its own safeguards.
We may also share information where the law requires it, or with professional advisers where needed.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Enquiries that lead to an order: kept with our customer records for as long as needed for the order, warranty and our legal and accounting obligations (normally six years).
- Server logs: up to 14 days.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email office@artemis-distribution.co.uk. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising, analytics or other tracking cookies.
When you close the cookie notice, your browser stores a small note (in local storage, not a cookie) so the notice is not shown again. It contains no personal information and is never sent to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and enquiry details are sent straight to our business email rather than stored on the web server.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
